United Women in Faith Lake South District invites you to be disciplined in your spiritual growth with us in the upcoming new year. Beginning on Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s birthday - Thursday, January 15, 2026 at 7 PM - gather with us virtually to meditate on God's Word and King's Mentor. Howard Thurman. In the subsequent weeks, gather with us for 6 virtual meditation sessions for one hour at 7 PM over the course of 6 weeks.
Jesus and the Disinherited and Meditations of the Heart will be our two main study and meditation companions. Both books are strongly recommended but not required to participate. Registration is open below. All are welcome to join. We encourage everyone interested to be with us for all 6 sessions, please register and join us as you are able.
We look forward to mediating on God's Word, reflecting on Thurman's writings and meditations, praying and being in virtual fellowship with you. May God open unto us all spiritual transformation and deeper understanding.
